Ambers of the World – different places, different eras

Fascinatingly, amber has been found in over 100 locations worldwide and does not have a single age. In different geographic regions, we encounter older and younger varieties, depending on the existence of ancient resin-rich forests and the conditions in which the resin fossilized. The oldest ambers in the world are over 100 million years old, while the younger ones are only a few dozen million years old.
